The Children's Cabinet of Seminole County

The advocates and service providers who make up The Children’s Cabinet of Seminole County focus on coordinating and developing high quality, family-centered services that address the physical, social and emotional needs of our children and families.

Members of The Children’s Cabinet have joined together to tackle the important issues of homelessness, teens aging out of foster care and protecting children from abuse and neglect. Those efforts resulted in Pathways to Home, The Village, and Family Connections.

In 2010, The Children’s Cabinet began the process of changing the system of care for children and families with mental and behavioral disorders. The Cabinet provides governance for Families and Communities Together in Seminole, a project funded by a federal grant.
